Description
Quad Hecate is a project about building a quadcopter from the ground up. From designing a PCB for the ESC and flight controller, to implementing my own control algorithms, designing my own hardware, and building my own interfaces. It is about working across as many skill sets as possible in a coherent manner.
Why Hecate?
Hecate is an ancient Greek goddess, often associated with crossroads and liminal space. That in-between space is the core metaphor behind this project.
Quad Hecate represents work between two stages of life: preparing for the world and arriving into it.
